Milind's 'Mile Stone' in Ranji, runs 70% of team alone

Milind Kumar scored the first innings score of Sikkim in the Ranji Trophy Plate Group encounter with 261 runs in 372 runs alone.

Milind Kumar, who played first-class cricket from Delhi, has done the best of the Ranji Trophy 2018-19 season. For the first time, Milind, who was involved in this prestigious tournament for Sikkim, not only scored a double century but got a big achievement.

Milind, 27, scored the first innings score of Sikkim against Manipur in the Ranji Trophy Plate Group match, scoring 261 runs in 372 runs alone. That is, Milind himself scored 70 percent of this score of Sikkim. In this match at the Jadavpur University Campus ground in Kolkata, Milind scored 39 chops and 3 sixes in 331 balls.

Vijay Hazare records the record of making the highest percentage score in the team's total score. In December 1943, Hazare scored 309 runs in the team's total score of 387. That is, 80 percent of the team's total score came from the legendary Hazare's bat.

Thanks to this big innings of Milind Kumar, Sikkim won by an innings and 27 runs against Manipur in their first match. In reply, Manipur's team was dismissed for 79 runs in 28 overs in their first innings. Ishwar Chowdhary, who came from Gujarat, picked up four wickets for 37 runs while Bipul Sharma, who played Himachal Pradesh, got three wickets.

Manipur's team was reduced to 266 runs in the follow-on innings Bipul took 4/55 in this innings, while Ishwar Chaudhary spent 52 runs to earn three successes.
