Leader announces resignation on social media
Some leaders, while announcing the resignation on social media, showed their solidarity with Dushyant and Digvijay. Both were dismissed from the party on Friday for "indiscipline". Both are seen as opponents of their uncle and Chautala's younger son Vidhayee Abhai Singh Chautala.

Hissar MP Dushyant Chautala met his supporters in Sirsa. He said that the decision will be taken on the next step when his father Ajay Chautala goes out of jail. He said, "Those who are leaving INLD, they are people who have a connection with the Congress. Some Congressmen want to weaken the INLD. "But he refused to comment directly on the expulsion of MP Dushyant Chautala and young leader Digvijay Chautala.
