Mahajra's Marazzo is going to be expensive since January 1 next year
Mahindra has announced the price of its latest car Marazzo since January 1, 2019.
Four months after the launch of Marazzo, Mahindra has announced the price increase of this Shark Inspired MPV. The price of Marjah will be increased from Rs 30,000 to Rs 40,000 in all the variants. New prices will be effective from January 1, 2019. Let me tell you, Mahindra Marajo was launched in September this year at an initial price of 9.99 lakh rupees (ex-showroom).
Vijay Ram Nakara, sales and marketing chief of automotive division, Mahindra & Mahindra said in a statement, "As it was said during the launch, the price of Marjah was initial price. Therefore, we are going to increase its price after the proper period of four months of its launch, which will be effective from January 1, 2019. "
Last month, it was announced on behalf of Mahindra that Marjoha has received more than 10,000 bookings across the country. In the same month, the company also updated the Maruti's Infotainment system with the Apple Carplay. At the launch, only the Android Auto was given in Marazzo.
Mahazzar's Marazzo was introduced in four variants- M2, M4, M6 and M8. They were priced at Rs 9,99,000, Rs 10,95,000, Rs 12,40,000 and Rs 13,90,000 respectively.
Marazo is designed jointly by Mahindra Design Studios and Mahindra-owned Popular Italian Design House 'Pininaparania'. Its engineering has been merged with Mahindra North America Technical Center and Mahindra Research Valley of Chennai.
Speaking mechanically, Marazzo has a 1.6-liter, four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine which generates a power of 128 bhp and a pickup torque of 320 Nm. This engine has been connected with the 6-speed manual gearbox.
