May launch in July
Hyundai's plan is to launch early in the Indian market on the basis of feedback received from the 'SUV'. According to media reports, the Hyundai Kona can be launched by July next year. Experts say that Kona's collision will be Maruti's favorite hatchback car WagonR. However, it will be clear after its launch that how much it gives to WagonR.

The company has claimed that this car can run up to 300 km on full charge. The car has strong features such as 17 inch alloy wheel, digital dashboard, 7 inch touchscreen injection system, heated seats, adaptive cruise control, lane centering system, rear cross traffic alert and automatic emergency breaking. Hyundai says this car will be charged up to 80 percent in 1 hour, but for this it will have to install a fast charger of 100 kilo watts DC.

The electric SUV car is capable of catching speed of 0 to 100 km per hour in 9.3 seconds. The top speed of the car is 167 kmph. The car will be brought from CKD route in India and then later it will be assembled in the factory of Chennai-based company. Hyundai has planned to bring 8 cars here by 2020 to strengthen the grip in the Indian market. These cars also include a corner. It is also expected that the Kona will be sold in select cities in addition to metros like Delhi, Mumbai.
