India beat West Indies 3-1 in ODI series

India defeated the West Indies by nine wickets in the fifth and final one-day international at Thiruvananthapuram on Thursday to name their five-match series 3-1. India achieved the target of 105 by losing one wicket in 14.5 overs. With this win, India has kept the series of winning on home ground from 2015 in this series.

Earlier, winning the toss, the West Indies had set a target of 105 runs to win against India, which India easily achieved in the 15th over with the help of Captain Kohli and Rohit Sharma. Between the two, there was an unbeaten partnership of 99 runs for the second wicket. West Indies got the only breakthrough as Shikhar Dhawan. Thomas was bowled by Dhawan on 6.
